Ask Chuck Moore About 25X, Forth And So On
Chuck Moore is, among other things, a chip designer. His latest design, the 25x, is based on a 5x5 array of X18 microprocessor cores, and could provide 60,000 MIPS with a production cost of about one dollar. And Moore has the chops to back that up: he's been designing tiny, efficient processors for many years. He's also the inventor of the programming language Forth, which has evolved from a miniscule but radically fast language "difficult for a human to read" (according to The Secret Guide) to the even more radical colorForth. How radical? Try "includes own operating system; has own 27-key Dvorak keyboard layout; meaningful color syntax." How's that for starters? Ask below your questions for Chuck about processors and programming (ask all you'd like, but one per post, please) We'll pass the best ones on to him, answers soon to follow.

too bad /. doesn't have "Incoherent" or "Gibberish" moderation...
You aren't being "censored."
/. runs on? You don't? Do you own the network infrastructure or pay for the bandwidth? You don't? Funny, that. The fact of the matter is that these guys can do whatever they want with their website, including moderating you down or deleting your posts. That's freedom, not censorship. The type of society that you espouse (where people are unable to control content on their own Web site) is the scary one. Now, if you morons tried to form your own site and the government stepped in and shut you down, that would be censorship. You, however (no doubt reaching from the depths of your junior-high education) consider it to be "censorship" when crap you write on somebody else's Web site gets moderated down. Talk about kiddie mentality.
Let's see. Do you own the machines that
Personally, I think Rob and company go far too easy on you. If it were me, I would post your IP addresses publically. For those of you trolling or crapflooding from work, I would go out of my way to make sure that the network/system administrators at your workplace got a chance to see your works of "art." I would do some investigation and track down names, addresses, telephone numbers, and other such information. I would then pass that information to any interested parties, both on and off Slashdot.
You morons may whine about how your crap is consistently moderated down, but it could be far worse. If I were in charge of Slashdot, crapflooding here would be an extraordinarily dangerous activity, and a very real (possible) hazard to physical well-being. I just wish Rob and company would start fighting back, because I'll tell you what: there would be a ton of people on their side.
Can you Imagine a Beowolf Cluster of THESE???
Please!
Are you a god?
