Dirk Mueller, Waldo Bastian, Carsten Pfeiffer and Simon Hausmann are answering questions regarding the future of Konqueror, its portability and the integration with KDE3 and QT3. And speaking about KDE3, OSNews is reporting what's new in the new version: KDE 3 will be based on QT 3.0 and will also feature educational and other apps (like Kompare and KWinTV) as part of the default installation, support for extremely large files, new versions for KNode and KMail, email templates in KMail, advanced Web Shortcuts, S/MIME support, plugins for the KMenu, a graphical Regular Expression app (KRegExpEditor) and much more. A (very early) alpha version is already available."

Konqueror is more than a browser.
Yes, it's part of KDE, a bunch of pretenders pulling off their giant ego shows. Every single person I've met who's involved with KDE is a giant asshole.

Come on, it looks so pathetic when open source software is all about ego games. The stupid little moronic users look up in awe and amazement at the god like developers who sit around stroking their egos. Its retarded. Tell one of the little worshippers that their gods aren;t perfect and they say your trolling or ungrateful or something. All these people say they write open source code for fun. No they write it for a big ego trip. It's lame. Look at FreeBSD and OpenBSD, it's the same ego tripping crap. It makes open source look ridiculous. It's embarrasing. Maybe some of these projects would be even better if they didn't act so high and mighty and drive away new developers. I wanted to get into some open projects becuase i read these open source propoganda books saying oh ya any developer with skill can show up and start helping, well thats a load of shit. You have to play stupid little social games and kiss a bunch of ass just give away some code?? what? man screw that, sorry no you can piss off with that attitude buddy. I can companies welcome and pay me generously for my code, so do you think i'm gonna sit here and kiss some wankers ass who doens't even have an education just a couple years of handing out spaghetti code, no way man. These open source developers need to deflate their egos and the users should stop worshipping them like their so fucking great.
