It'll offer video and TV on demand, and act as an internet gateway for internet appliances. Profiling is mentioned. The story makes an interesting point about how the XBox's true purpose is to pave the way for Microsoft as a home entertainment brand."

    Fucking dimwits on Slashdot saying crap like "Ohhhh, I can't wait to get one of those XBoxes" or "Gosh this Home Box looks cool!". All the while you're drooling yourselves out of a future with your idiotic pandering to Microsoft. Wakeup before you've lost the only digital freedom you'll ever have.
