Ahem - "Using a freon coolant as their liquid, they conducted a series of boiling experiments on the space shuttle during 5 missions..." [bold added by me] and the exact info on the substance in those main boiling photos (the one showing lots of bubles compared to one big one) is preciesly "Fluid: Freon R-113, Heat Flux: 8 W/cm2 , Subcooling: 5 F."
