Maxtor's ATA-133 Does 160GB
B. Galliart writes "ExtremeTech has an article about Maxtor's two new bleeding edge ATA-133 drive models coming out later this month. The most interesting of these is the 160 Gigabyte DiamondMax Plus D540X (priced around $400) which uses Maxtor's purposed "BigDrive" 48-bit address space instead of the common E/IDE 28-bit address space thus getting pass the 137GB barrier. The drive should be useable on existing computers due to a bundled Promise Technologies ATA-133 PCI card."
No. It's because you're getting older, AND because computers aren't exciting anymore. My hard drive is 200 gigs instead of 100! Yay! Um, no. More like "Who gives a fuck? I can buy 2 100 giggers on the cheap."
Go Kathryn Thurber!
5) Upset because no one is openly talking about how the US is responsible for the actions themselves.
Thanks for the two troll ratings(or is it three?), CmdrTaco. The readers of Slashdot seemed to get some humour out of my entirely accurate statement, and I don't see any followups except for my own(you *DO* understand the definition of 'troll,' don't you?), so why you marked my post as 'Troll' is beyond me.
Go Kathryn Thurber!
It's the only way not to go mad....
BTW You Americans have been Overpampered, building trouble in the whole world for your fuel / copper / Gold / Name Your Own Resources.
Now would be an extremly good time to check your own problems and stop bullying your friendly heighbours and Coplanetary friends...

Windows might need this in the very near future.
After XP as been released.
Shut that overactive hole in the middle of your face or go post on one of the numerous articles that are actually concerned with the subject you're talking about.
People are upset enough about this as it is without you trying to karma whore off the back of it.
