Cartoon Network Dropping Gundam and Bebop?
Lhadatt was among several who noted unannounced changes in Cartoon Networks' anime lineup. It's easy to speculate that Mobile Suit Gundam and Cowboy Bebop were dropped because of Tuesday's terrorist attacks since each show has a fair amount of violence, but nobody really knows. You can see the evidence on Cartoon Network's Listings. Tonight, episode 5 of Bebop was scheduled to air: one of the best episodes, too.
Umm... this is "news for nerds, stuff that matters", why exactly? Is Cowboy Bebop really Cowboyneal in disguise? Or does he run linux on a cow's stomach?
Anyway, this is all getting a bit silly. Some hypocritial tv stations here in the Netherlands cancelled several programs because of the WTC disaster, but didnt bother to leave out offensive commercials (like for the army)...
Slow down you self-appointed anti-bookburning cowboy, this has nothing to do with censorship. This has to do with the fact that 99.999% of people who read this forum do not care for Anime - especially in light of what has happened in recent days.
Anime? What is that? Something homosexual people do?
We do not care for Anime conversation for the same reasons we do not let pedophiles discuss topics here.
