Browser Bindings for Python, Perl, and other Languages?
Garfycx asks: "Hi everybody! This week Slashdot linked to a story about Java and its roll over C/C++. While reading it I remembered one of the first strategies to make Java a de-facto standard - the browser-applet. as far as I know it did not make it, and I don't see many of them in cyberspace. But in combination with servlets they may come up again. I am not quite sure who is in need of applets but I wondered why there never was a browser-plugin for languages like Python or Perl. I would like to hear about reasons why there is no effort to expand the capabilities of websites with language-plugins. Couldn't there be a universal CORBA-like plugin for Mozilla to be used by most languages or such?"
Shhhhhh..... to speak such heresy in a place such as this could get you trolled, flamed, or pointed out as a M$ shill. Keep your voice down, don't make any sudden moves, and whatever you do don't make eye contact or smile, they see those as signs of agression.

You call it with two arguments, the first is how much more interesting you want the article to be (lower is more), the second is the name of the file containing the article.
"Are you really so dense to be unaware that Netscape invented Live/JavaScript?"
Are you really so dense as to think ActiveScripting and Live/JavaScript are the same thing?
Are you really such a useless fucking douchebag that you have to post your drivel as an Anonymous Coward? Clearly you are. Last time I checked Netscape was closed source too. Also I never said dropping M$ was a security panacea. If you ever have *ANYTHING* intelligent to say, I'll let you know what it is. Cheers there Captain Douchebag!
