There was just ONE congresswoman who opposed granting the president practically free hands to decide how and when to start killing people deemed terrorists.
Think about this: if we exterminated the Muslims completely, the world would finally be at peace. Everywhere the world is at war, it is because of Muslims - Kosovo, Afgahistan, Palestine, Iraq, Somalia, Chechnya, Philipines. Islam is not a peacful religion.
They get all the kicks they need from political power.

As much as you open and closet racists would like to believe, this is not a conflict between religions or cultures. This is a conflict between tolerance and intolerance and based on bias in your comments you belong to the same camp as Osama bin Laden.
Every war has two or more sides. For instance, in Kosovo the Muslims had to start fighting for their lives as "Christians" tried to massacre them. And don't give me that "the Muslims started it" crap. Who started and what doesn't matter if everybody is eventually dead from fighting which is exactly what your attitude breeds.

Ah, the classical "I am not a racist but I don't like other cultures" line. Do you seriously believe that there was a monolithic "European culture" that immigrated to the States? Try visiting today's Europe some day and you'll see that the culture in Italy is quite a bit different from that in the Northern Europe.
Without multiculturalism the America would not be the superpower it is today. It's the same thing as with the gene pool: the poorer (more pure) it gets, the more degenerated the population becomes. Monoculture is a dead end everywhere in the nature; somehow you racists don't seem to realize this in your zeal for racial or cultural "purity".
Oh right... now I get it. You meant freedom for only a small part of the population. I think they tried that in South Africa with a disasterous result.

Seriously, I love this country deeply. There is no document as inspiring as the U.S. Constitution to me. Every person in history that has taken the Constitution on it's word and held America accountable to it and what it represents has always been a hero to me.
I'll fight for our country gladly. But I need to know that the Constitution that I'm fighting for is still intact. Then we can turn to the task of getting those terrorist bastards!
