andyo writes: "Incredible assertion in this Wired article that 'Americans have no reasonable expectation of privacy in the identities of their e-mail correspondents, or the addresses of Web pages they visit.' Cites two senators who I'd thought to be more clueful (Orrin Hatch and Chuck Schumer)." Sure, the FBI should be able to check out every URL I visit without a warrant. They'll never abuse that power.

Ultra conservative right? Charles Schumer? Somehow, these two terms don't seem to go together. Schumer has always seemd to be on the liberal democrat side of things...
that the most self-important people/countries are always full of shit ?
Please don't change the system, I like to laugh at america. It's a joke that never gets old.
It's funny how the parent post was modded down. "Ralph" has really hit the nail on the head. The politically correct lambs will always ignore the facts if they are offensive. In academia, politics, science, arts, so on.
You people should do some research: How does the media influence the government? Who controls the media? Who is sponsoring these proposals? Who is involved in the terrorism and why?
moderate the parent up!
+5 Insightful!

And Hatch is Mormon, not Christian. There's a world of difference between Mormonism (a cult) and Christianity.
"Oh, a sarcastic Star Trek fan. You must be a hit with the ladies."
Anonymous cowards don't see sigs. Post the real link.
I recommend a new brain.
Hatch is Mormon, not Christian.
For such an expert on this, I noticed you're not even using correct terminology.
Mormon is Mormon. Hatch is Hatch, and I've heard is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
