Farscape Signs for 2 More Years
Dimes noted that the scifi channel has signed Farscape for 2 more seasons. 44 more episodes of my favorite sci-fi on TV (Well, maybe Lexx gives it a run for its money ;). New episodes start in January, and I'm a happy camper. Related ramblings: TNN is doing a marathon rerun of all of ST:TNG all this week. And I finally watched Enterprise- that theme song really has gotta go. But I'd like to see more, if only I could get it in my area. So much potential if they don't screw it up.

Traditional Values Coalition is responding to the University of Pennsylvania's study, "The Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico," produced by the Center for the Study of Youth Policy and released on Monday.
"We've known for a long time that homosexual males molest same-sex children in far higher numbers than heterosexuals," said Sheldon. "This report is more evidence that homosexuals pose a serious threat to children-especially to boys."
Homosexuals make up only 1-2% of our population, noted Sheldon, yet this report indicates that they account for 95% of the molestations of boys. "This is outrageous," said Rev. Sheldon. "The fact that boys are molested by homosexual men at a rate this high should cause parents to rise up in opposition to the normalization of homosexuality in our culture. Instead, we have just the opposite coming from organizations like the Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) which holds its National Conference this month and which has as part of its mission statement:
"'Since homophobia and heterosexism undermine a healthy school climate, we work to educate teachers, students and the public at large about the damaging effects these forces have on youth and adults alike'."
GLSEN is advocating the teaching of homosexual perversion from grades K through 12 in public schools with your tax dollars!
Sheldon notes that in 1987, Dr. Stephen Rubin of Whitman College conducted a study of molestation rates of public school teachers. He studied 199 cases of molestation and found that 32% of the cases involved homosexuals molesting same-sex students. "This study shows that although homosexuals are only 1-2% of the population, they accounted for nearly a third of the molestation's of children in this study. We must protect our children from homosexual child molesters!" said Sheldon.
I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci Fi writer Stephen King was found dead in his Maine home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.
Taco seems to be watching a lot of TV nowadays, in addition to the 12 hours/day of Anime. All he has left to do when VA closes is add his fat ass to the bottom of the welfare rolls...
I want to see the whole world destroyed. The WTC was a good start. Hopefully my city can go last so I get a chance to watch all the carnage around me and laugh. Here's to the death of the human race!
