Polaroid Can't Compete with Digital Cameras

mobydobius was among several who noted that poloroid can't keep up in the era of digital cameras. They filed for chapter 11, and have a billion dollars of debt. This deal gets them a bit of cash, but none of this seems surprising considering the cost of their instant film. In just a few short years, digital cameras knocked 'em down. There's a lesson here, but I think it's something like "Don't eat the Yellow Snow".

    We'll never try to 'compete' with digital cameras at ScaredCity?tmp?. We do ask that you try not to handle our pages for several minutes after printing, to avoid the much disliked, 'html smudge'.

    Meanwhile, by being able to follow some simple directions, you could acquire this gnu era set of URLs, including a year's free hosting, on one of our secure/dependable linus boxes, so that you may be ever so slightly 'more' competitive/findable, in the brave gnu world of open/honest communications/commerce. Thanks for your time/support.

    anyone else with the problem? everytime I try to connect to slashdot with IE I get 403 Forbidden error. works fine in NS.

    record w/ the bitrate set as variable, that way then more data is need to create a complete sound, then higher bit rate, and vise versa.

    Well, they were funding criminals- they gave the Taliban $43M in May this year. Unfortunately it seems the effect was slightly different than intended- video film was used a lot by the general public- but not so much still photography.

    How low can the karma go? Only you can decide!
