    I was at. He was a complete waste of skin so
    don't get all excited about him. Sycophants
    will suck up to him but look at his results
    during the dot-com craze; nothing he was

    they made a mistake using GNOME to build it. If they had used KDE, I would use it in a heartbeat. Ximian should have standardized around KDE not GNOME. It's not too late, Ximian should become a KDE-only company.

    That being said, Qt is freer than GTK+ is. Qt is GPL, and GTK+ is LGPL. Even your belvoed FSF (fucking stupid fuckers) say that LGPL is much less preffered license and it is the GPL that truly protects freedoms.
