NUON As Open Source Gaming Platform

And the technology may not rival PS2 or XBox, but he also says the latest version of the chip is 2-3 times the power of the existing model and cheaper to produce. Well it is, isn't it? Anything associated with Jeff Minter is off to a bad start. At least for a smelly hippy he is productive, though.

Stephen King, author, dead at 55

I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci Fi writer Stephen King was found dead in his Maine home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.
