Anti-Terrorism Law Passed
Saratoga C++ writes: "Today (Oct 25) was the day that the US Senate voted on if to pass H.R. 3162, the anti-terrorism law. I have the roll call for today from the Senate. The only person with a "Nay" vote was Russ Feingold (D-WI). Thanks Russ. The final turn out was Yes: 98, No: 1, No Vote: 1."

Wow, what's with that one "nay" guy? Reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons. Simpsons fans know what I'm talking about.
"Who keeps saying that?"
"It was him. Let's get him, fellas!"

Dammit mod this parent up. Its the most thoughtful thing i have read on /. today
If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.
Bad news: The current Slashcode will have rejected every single one of your meta-moderations, and may even have cost you a Karma point. The code will ignore metamods if they have a particular agree/disagree ratio, and will penalise metamoderators if they fail a more severe agree/disagree ratio. The ratios are configurable.
Depressing isn't it? I often skip a metamod session for precisely that reason, seeing 10 good posts badly moderated and knowing that nothing I can enter will result in a fair result.
