Linux 2.2.20 is Out

This is getting out of hand. Does slashdot report on operating system OTHER than gay/bloated/useless Linux?
Cactus Man, you're lame. Find something useful to do

...that they still fix bugs in "older" kernels.
I'm still waiting for a patch for Windows 95 that will make it multiuser.
Don't get me wrong, but I think that Linux deserves better pulicity(pr stunt?) for important releases. Look what MSFT is doing for Windows Xtra Profit. Yeah, the distributions (Suse rox) will give all the publicity...but still there is hardly any mention in the mainstream media. Which is disheartening as being an open source initiative development of Linux is not tied to corporate bullcracy and as this release shows development can be so much faster.
Most people still think that Linux is some obnoxious, patchy "difficult" OS. Good or bad thing...you decide.
linux will stop sucking?
Yeah thank goodness for that bug that rooted a server I had an account on and e-mailed the entire contents of /etc/shadow as well as my ~ dir to Asia. Thanks 2.2.19!
