Clockless Chips

Clockless, or asynchronous, chips work very much faster and consume less power than their synchronous equivalents (Intel hade some experiments on these chips back in -97, the results showed that the asynchronous chips were three times faster and consumed only half the power)."

    Ah. My first post ever bashing the editors. I am now a true slashdotter....
    In my days you got the +1 bonus first and then got to bash the Slashdot editors, boy, times sure are changing.

    For those of you living in the Seattle area, you may want to contact The Paramount as their website blocks access from non-IE browsers. I tried to connect to theparamount.com and got this message:

    The STG [Seattle Theatre Group, parent company of The Paramount and The Moore Theatre -me] website works with Netscape version 4.0 and 6.01 and Internet Exlorer versions 4.0 and 5.0. Please upgrade your web browser and come back to enjoy our website. Thank you!

    I was using Moz0.9.5 under Linux. I tried Netscape 4.77 and got the same message. When I tried Konqueror with the identifier string changed to "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98)", it worked fine.

    I sent an email to webmaster@theparamount.com and to isen@axisweb.com (Axis is their web design company, 'isen' is Axis' Director of Operations).

    Please send email to them if you care.

    There wasn't any space left in your backyard for the windmill because it's full of tulips? BTW. Being Dutch isn't a good enough reason for posting poor English. "I'm Dutch and I failed my English classes" would be>:-)
