Fact Squad Radio On 'The Spy in Your Computer'

URIICA co-founder Lauren Weinstein writes: "Greetings. My latest very short "Fact Squad Radio" audio (MP3) vignette is entitled "The Spy in Your Computer?" It discusses the current controversy and risks regarding the FBI's reported "Magic Lantern" computer virus project and similar surveillance systems. It may be of some interest. The segment may be accessed via: http://www.factsquad.org/radio." Here's a direct link to the file, but the others are worth checking out, too.

Nothing new there, at least not from what's been discussed here. Feels like just another sound byte, to me. (779k sound bytes, to be precise)

Perhaps nice for joe-user, but in that case, it borders on fanaticism, given the claims made against ML with no real explanation How it Works.

I hate to do this since this seems like a neat site, but the "radio" broadcasts are not very packed with facts. I listened to several of them, and the only one that had any facts in it was the Cell Phone Ban segment. Most of it is just his opinoins. Maybe my definition of facts is too rigid. I like the concept, but the name doesn't ring true.

I know. I have had many stories refused, and am glad to hear of others who have had the problem. The Slashdot editors are obviously too busy docking dicks with Katz and Jamie (so they can pretend to have foreskins) to get any real work done:
