Red Hat And Lineo Respond To MS Embedded Linux FUD

jeffy124 writes: "Red Hat and Lineo, the major spearheads of Embedded Linux, have said that Microsoft's recent white paper comparing Linux and Windows XP embedded is full of inaccuracies, false facts, and overall distorts the value of Linux in general. Lineo has gone as far to say it flat out lies about Linux. ZDNet has Lineo's response, Red Hat comments, and a summary article." I don't want to mess around with a computer system for 3 hours when windows or mac can do it in less then 1 hour. Linux takes to long to learn and does not have enough support. I like the ideal of u get to choose what you want installed in your os but the fact is that with M$ os's you got why more options then all other os's combined. Linux is never going to take off and thank god for that. I wish though that M$ would get some real competition. They are far better then any other offers out there. I know i am going to get a lot of u guys mad and i don't care. Linux deserves to be bashed because it is so complicated and for it's support. It's cool that it's open source code but where has that got it when it comes to drivers? I was hoping the BEOS would take off because i do prefer it over windows but now i am back with windows because BEOS does not have the support. I love Slashdot and a lot of the Linux open source code is good like lzip for example. To bad they have not updated the code in over a year and a half. Apples also suck because they do not have the support either. They use there own hardware in many cases that u half to buy from apple which is a very bad business mistake. Well it's time to stop the Linux bashing session for today. I will return again. Only next time i will be much more detailed. I am tired so i don't want to get into it any more hehehe.
