It's The End Of The Be As We Know It
JRAC writes "Be Inc. has replaced their web site's entire contents with information on the sale of Be to Palm.
Stock holders can find all relevant info on the Stock Information page.
BeOS 5 Personal Edition is no longer available from the site. Looks like it's time to hit the mirrors. Try ftp.planetmirror.com/pub/beos for files.
" The official sale was approved just over a month ago.
Would Palm pay $11M for something then give it away? I know I wouldn't.
You should concentrate on a good operating system, or this one here.
Well, we were sitting next to each other on the train, well, these trains have seats across from each other. So I put my hand on her pants and was rubbing her there, but I thought that was too obvious. So, I put my knee into her vagina and started rubbing. We were sitting so close to each other. I asked her if that felt good, and she was just breathing hard. That, for those of you who do not know, means yes. Then, she took her knee and began rubbing it on my penis. I got erect pretty quickly, but I think it was only because there was so many people around. We did this for a while, until a young mexican woman got on the train with her four kids, and the little girl was being nosy, so we had to stop.
There once was a little troll,
The troll was big and round,
He rubbed his hands together with glee,
His constant typing was a sound!
He schemed,
He scanned,
He found,
An article on slashdot,
No one else was around,
So he type how DARE you steal copyrighted material,
How dare you!
This and that,
But the little troll forgot one thing,
And that is that all trolls are rats
Last time I downloaded BeOS personal edition, I was able to lockup the entire OS by issuing the "kill" command on any process, even the notepad app. Which led me to think, why put something like a kill command into the OS if it's going to go schitzo when I use it?
This was on a stock install of BeOS personal edition, on a machine with memory I tested that turned out perfect. Has BeOS been "fixed" since then? Any good community resource sites?
