Max Entropy writes "Finally, an in-depth article of the technologies within the GameCube, PS2, and Xbox. The article covers architectures, processor/memory silicon, I/O, expandability, and storage among a host of other topics." If you are wondering what makes each system distinctive (Besides the fact that one has about a hundred times as many games, one overheats, and another has Luigi) this might be worth a read.

    I completly agree with your comments. Can't you (Slashdot) ban the guy who's making these sick comments? Take a look at his post history - all comments marked as -1, and most of them just as sick and twisted.

    He spends all of his money on cocaine. There is no other way for him. Therefore, he is broke all the time. Not to mention, the majority of his employment contract was VA shares before the dot com bust. He only owns a Dreamcast -- I know this because I was over at his house the other night. I leave the activities up to your imagination.

    The only problem I have with the XBox, aside from the expensive low quality DVD remote that you must have (and is somewhat hard to find), is its rather large area. It's the only console that won't fit on my mammoth 1985 VCR :)

    Do you mean it won't fit on the VCR because it's too wide or long? Or because there's not enough clearance between the top of the VCR and wherever you keep it? If the former, you're lying. Old VCRs were huge, yet my XBox fits nicely on top of my fairly recent (2 year old) hi-fi VCR. Oh, sure, if you buy one of those tiny VCRs (the ones that aren't much wider than the width of a tape), it'll have problems sitting there. Any other VCR, not a problem. If the latter, again you're lying, because the GameCube is actually taller than the XBox, so if the XBox won't fit, neither will the GameCube.


    So, either you're lying or you're lying. Or you're misrepresenting the facts. Which is it?
