Embedded Linux On a High Speed Camera

destructor writes: "Linuxdevices has an interesting article on a High Speed Gated Intensified Camera that "combines a fast gated micro-channel plate (MCP) image intensifier, a CMOS image sensor, and an embedded computer based on an Axis Communications ETRAX RISC processor running Embedded Linux." The camera (Elphel Model 303) itself is network operable and can be used for capturing images of explosions, lightning bolts, etc. Link found via. megarad.com."

Hi. I came to your site because one of my friends said that all of the cool computer geeks hang out here. In my address bar there is a green /. before the website address. Is this some kind of Linux virus? After I left the site to go check out the latest news and hot deals on MSN, I noticed that the green /. WAS STILL THERE! I had to close the window and open up another one, right in the middle of reading a great Slate article on why GWB is the best president the US has ever had. Boy, was I cheezed!

Can anyone out there help me with this virus? System specs: Win98 SE, IE6.0, Athlon 1GHz Thunderbird, 256 Megs CL2 Micron RAM, Geforce 256 video card, Quantum Fireball 40 GB ATA100 HD, ASUS A7V-133 mobo, onboard WAVE audio, Logitech keyboard and mouse, Samtron 17" monitor, SMC EZ card 10/100 NIC, Fujitsu 3.5" floppy.

    Thanks for your help.
