Star Trek TNG DVDs

pgudge writes "startrek.com had a post about the paramount release of Star Trek The Next Generation on DVD. Claimed a around $100 for the season pack, including 7 DVD's. And that other season are to be released every other month thereafter. all done in Dolby Digital 5.1. Release date expected 26th march" Good way to watch them without suffering through TNN's ridiculous image squashing technology (Proudly proving that in the future everyone is either a pro wrestler, or shaped like a pear!)

    I can barely stand to watch it on TV. To have a permanent copy in my house would be intolerable.

    I seriously don't understand why people like this show.

      many of the episodes are just terrible

      Especially in the first season. They should have released seasons 3-7 before 1 and 2, to avoid scaring away half the market. Then again, Marina Sirtis was pretty fetching in those thigh-high boots in Encounter at Farpoint.

    Theres not a scientist I know who would even
    spend one hour/yr. watching crap like that.
    Only a dumb-ass would be interested in a 2nd rate
    fantasy show. All people who watch it should
    get real hobbies like drinking.
