Oracle Breakable After All

Billy writes "Unless you've been living in a cave, you've seen Oracle's Unbreakable campaign (Can't break it. Can't break in.), which was kicked-off by Larry Ellison personally at Comdex last November. Now U.K. security researcher David Litchfield says you can break in, thanks to at least seven different security holes in Oracle 9i, according to this SecurityFocus story. Oracle's top security manager is quoted as saying that "unbreakable" doesn't really mean unbreakable, or something."

Let's see how long it takes the cunts to mod this down. Very interesting oppression technique you have, motherfuckers. I suppose you want to scare us into weaselly karma protection mode, but I have no use for your fucking toys and no time for your fucked up network. Next

Slashdot is a fucking piece of shit and it has been for a very long time now. I don't know if to blame the moderation system or that stubborn ass CmdrTaco who refuses to admit that there is even a problem.

You need to get rid of these stupid categories like "funny" "offtopic" etc. They are stupid and do not serve any useful purpose. Furthermore the slashdot user base has proven themselves too stupid to even use them properly so why bother?

Taco has good intentions but he is too dumb for his own good. His solution to every problem is to fix the symptoms instead of the underlying problem and I am sick of it.

It's been a couple days; I'm curious as to how much attention is still being paid to this thread. Will I be taking the three point karma hit?
It's now been 7 more days. Let's see what happens.

BTW, this is ontopic because it addresses the question asked by roystgnr. If you doubt me, look at the Parent

If you are human moderator that wants to mark me down, please use the "Overrated" selection. If you mark me down as "off-topic", I'll assume you're script-ki33ie.
