Robert Love, Preemptible Kernel Maintainer Interviewed
Tom F writes: "LinuxDevices did an interesting interview with Robert Love, the maintainer of the Linux preemptible kernel along with MontaVista. It is an exciting read and has Robert's usual wit and insight."
Fuck you all of you motherfucking LambdaMOOers! Piss on you all! That's right! Woot!
Mmm FP again.
Ipre-empted Linux with Windows. I doubt I'll ever return to the previous programming.
I have a question.
Seeing that all the slashdot editors support kernel hacking and all, has anyone on the slashdot team ever contributed to the linux kernel? If so, link to proof?
(God knows they probably have the time.....)
Now, if anything, that's insightful.
Nice PF quote.
"I certainly think Linux is an excellent desktop system (both GNOME and KDE are quite mature) but I don't see huge strides here in the coming year."
In my opinion Gnome 2.0 is the coming of age of the Linux desktop.

A real third world country is a one where there is no food, water or electricity. Yet that does not mean that they should be excluded from the Linux hackerdom. We should bring them the stuff they're lacking in order to participate!
This was a wakeup call for me. After seeing this abuse (YES! IT IS ABUSE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY AN APOLOGIST, MICHAEL!) I decided to take all my constructive discussion to K5 and start trolling /. on a daily basis.
I'll consider stopping the day Michael gets fired.
Sir... I salute you. Now if you can work over the intro a little bit, you can reach the perfect pitch of pure hatred.
I havent been visiting slashdot because of its low quality and groupthink, and only jumped back over after I heard about this article.
I just wanted to say that I think slashdot really sucks, and thats why I havent been here in over 8 months.
