Open Source Developers Mostly Pros, Not Weenies

Open source a needed outlet for programming pros." Like any survey, it's bound to miss some avenues of exploration, but this is the best look at a large group of open source developers I've seen yet. According to this slide from their survey results, 45% of respondents are employed as programmers, another 15% in related fields. So while I don't see where the 9/10 came from, clearly the majority of Open Source developers do some sort of software development as their profession.
