An Anonymous Coward writes: "Remember when dot.com's were profitable and webpads were these cool little toys that were going to explode? Well that never happened but it seems like at least one company has actually come out with a Midori Linux webpad...called the Aquapad - looks kind of cool but only uses flash memory, so no storage :( I don't know if it would really be worth getting, but it looks like fun."

    Last time I checked, hotmail didn't let mozilla in, but if you set it to identify as IE it worked just fine. So I guess they can't say that Mozilla supports it, even if it does. At least that was my limited experience (I don't normally use hotmail) - anyone else?

    Page widening - this has been going on for weeks now.

    What the fuck is going on with slashdot code monkeys? While you are watching your porn, this place is going down the shitter fast. Clue: it's being done with list and blockquote tags... SO FUCKING DISABLE THOSE TAGS IN POSTS. It's not a perfect solution, and something better will need to be worked on... but IT WILL AT LEAST ALLOW PEOPLE TO READ THE FUCKING SITE AND ONLY INCOVENIENCE POSTERS IN A MINOR WAY.

    It's a five minute fix, for fuck's sake. Jesus fucking Christ - do we need to have every story fucked up before you'll get off your fat asses and do something?

    Clue: it's being done with list and blockquote tags... SO FUCKING DISABLE THOSE TAGS IN POSTS.

    Don't disable them; just limit their depth to 8 levels.

      That's the ideal solution - the quick way is to simply disable them while you code up the *right way*.
