    damn... i was just trolling on this article and didn't even notice the subject. I grew up a couple of miles from the "slinky mansion" (sarcasm alert). I lived in a fucking trailer park and the richest man within many miles was the guy who lived in a decent house... a self made man... a revolutionary thinker... the creator of the slinky.

    Sorry mods for this being grossly off-topic, but I was waiting for any story with a mention of Google to post this :)

    Go to Google.com, type in "FreeBSD" and what's the number 1 result? www.gnu.org! What's all the more alarming is that the word "FreeBSD" doesn't appear on the page in either visible text or HTML at all.

    May be a nitpicking point, but I've seen IRC bots and web scripts that just pick Google's #1 search, so this is weird. Sinister global conspiracy? We all know that Google is running several thousand GNU/Linux boxes...
