Handspring Treo Now Available

My guess is no, it won't change the world. But it could reduce by one the number of gadgets a lot of people carry around.

    I missed the first post, and its all because of the goatsex loving moderators! I posted 3 articles on the kernel "upgrade" (downgrade), none of them intended to be troll. Protest about moderators, who have gaping bleeding anuses. I had to switch my ip address, which is REALLY ANNOYING!

    I just heard some sad news on talk radio - Horror/Sci Fi writer Stephen King was found dead in his Maine home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss him - even if you didn't enjoy his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.

      CDWert an prolific poster, and notoriously bad typist of slashdot found dead today at his console, cause of death is expected to be a caffiene overdose. Even though most of us dislike him his spirited rants he will be ...not missed at all Good Riddance !

    That's no weirder math than when I have 50 karma points and post a 4, 5, 3, another 4, another 5, and another 4 and then one of the fives gets marked overrated and I'm back at 49 karma.

    50 + 4 + 5 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 4 - 1 = 49

    Now that's weird ;-)

    That's why before I go for the +5, I always make sure my karma's 45 or lower. (Some trolling/offtopicness like your post is good for that.) That way, when the jealous bastards who haven't had an original thought since their 10th birthday last year use "Overrated" (to protect themselves from M2) to knock it down, I don't end up any lower than when I started. One person astutely pointed out that we should think of it as a cap of 45 with room for moderator abuse. Of course, you could just start another ID, then you can have karma > 50 across more than one :).
