... or is this game deathly boring?

I played it for a couple of days untill I got sick to death of losing my experience, equipment, and pets to server farts. Wander... wander... kill something... wander.... wander... kill something.... get healed... wander...wander...

Insanity is the last line of defence for the master diplomat. But you have to lay the groundwork early.

Played it for two weeks. Hated it. Pined for Ultima of all things. At least people looked different there, and not everything would follow you for 15 screens to kill you.

I just have a problem with MMRPG's in general. Maybe it's because I have a 3 year old in the house, or that I'm leveling up without a real story, or that I'm antisocial.

Either way, I prefer a game I can pause, a game that tells a story, and a game that makes me feel like I've done something other than gotten my Mage up to level 50.

It seems an evil wizard has cursed the denizens of lineage with KNEECAPS OF STONE thus rendering my character unable to walk at a greater than 2 tiles per minute pace! Oh, and apparently blinded them so most non-magic attacks miss. Maybe I'll go to the focus group I was invited to in Austin and ask them why? :)

Of course they need a credit card if you are buying the cd.. they need to be able to charge your for shipping..

If you just click the download button, they dont collect any info from you at all.. not even email.

Sure you can download it for free, but what you don't find out until you download 400 MB. and go through their slow-ass website, is that they want a friggen credit-card number to let you play. "30-day free trial (cancel anytime before trial expires and you won't be billed)" Yeah, right.
