Yousef writes "GameSpy has an interesting article about a presentation given by Sony's head of R&D for Entertainment. It appears that there are some very interesting things in store for the PS3, plus a complete Red Hat Linux installation for the PS2 and many other toys too. An interesting read."
So what this boils down to is that we will be able to play Tuxracer on the PS2. Yawn. Or we can play Nethack, if you don't mind being the laughing stock of all your PS2 playing friends.

Sony is working with IBM to apply Big Blue's research in "grid computing" SONY is saying "WE can see you have lost faith in SONY making the best console system, so we will talk to IBM.. the inventor of the PC. And then they will help us make something even faster than an PC. We have lots of money and we know ppl."

SONY is saying "Its impossible to make something faster than the playstation 2, however if we have lots of ppl sticking to the SONY brand we might make something good. Please buy SONY else there wont be enough systems to play games."

Maybe the PlayStation 6 or 7 will be based on biotechnology SONY is saying "We dont know if the ps3 will beat the competitors but trust us sometime we will do something better, we are at the leading edge of technology because we have heard of "biotechnology"."
