bluegreenone writes "Google has a new page up about some of their proprietary search technology. Looks like Teoma's bid to outdo Google may be harder than they initially thought." It's an interesting technique, and definitely a lot harder for competitors to duplicate than I would have originally thought.

    Slashdot, ever devoted to the environment, has recently licensed this technology. They have an ongoing agreement to purchase all the remaining non-white poop pixels for reuse in enormous HP ads.

    Good, isnt it. Never understood why ACs exist. I read once it was because people need to hide their identity. That doesnt make sense, given that 99% of users here dont use their real names anyway!
