    The European Commission on Friday proposed slapping more than $300m of trade sanctions on politically-sensitive US products, including fruit, T-shirts, steel, guns and even billiard tables, in retaliation for US-imposed steel tariffs.

    The Commission's proposal for retaliation, which would require majority backing from the 15 EU member states, is designed to "hit the US where it hurts" by targeting exports from states crucial to US president George W. Bush's re-election. These include citrus fruits from Florida, apples and pears from Washington and Oregon, and steel from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. The plan would levy tariffs worth E377m ($336m) on US exports of those products.

      Well, we have an entire divisions of our troops in Europe, don't we?

      Just take out the Germany, wait for the French to surrender (again) and the rest of the Europe will fall in no time. Pay the Russia to keep out. Tony Blair's Britain does not have much sympathy for the continental Europe anyway.

    While on the subject of bad pornography, what the hell is up with the whole spitting thing?

    Well, you know, this used to turn me off, but then again, I used to be afraid of sex too. If you'll skunk-dive your girlfriend after her 5-mile jog (and I know I stick my tongue way up her ass whenever she lets me), then obviously a little drool ain't gonna hurt. So it's more a question of form - is spitting a sexy act?

    Yes, if you take it for granted that sex is ultimately rape, each and every time. It's nice to get raped by the girl every once in a while, but either way, spitting strongly emphasizes the sub/dom aspect that I believe is always present in sex. It's also about the deliberate exchange of body fluids, which again is present in every sex act.

    My question is, what's up with the ubiquity of anal sex in porn? Even when the girl enjoys it - which is rare - it just doesn't look like much, just a cock disappearing into the void.

    I have yet to try spitting, pissing, or anal sex in real life, but thanks to porn, I would, and I've met nice girls who have said they would be up for it. Messy porn has treated me well, but I agree, all I usually want are some cute teeners falling in love with big, ugly cock, and, hopefully, getting off on each other in the process. Hard to find these days, I think the Teen Revolution is largely over now that the dot-com money is gone. There's always Dutch porn, but those kids are loose pornstars too, they just moan louder and start younger.
