Attack of the Clones: Less Plastic Crap, More Story?
Newsweek has an article in which George Lucas states that there were parts of Episode One that were damaging to the Star Wars franchise. (shocker, I know) "The last movie did not live up to expectations." They'll cut the merchandise by two thirds, as they still have tons of unsold Episode One merchandise. Yahoo is also running an AOTC story. Mild spoilers in the linked stories, by the way.
At least now I know no major characters die at the end of the movie. Otherwise it would have been mentioned on Slashdot's main page.

TPM sucked so bad, it was kiddie Nintenblow universe. I was so pissed, I saw it the first day it came out (and lol to the jerkoff who line up and don't know how to use Moviefone or fandango, hahahha, lol, the jerks in the lineups hahahah)
I was so pissed i went the movies at 12 at night for that load of crap. I have seen scores of better movies since.
Star wars and especially ESB set the standards too high for that fat pedophilic Lucas to ever achieve again. The best thing for the SW franchise would be his death so a real director can take a shot at EP3 without screwing it all to hell.

The story sucked, it was full of holes, it was way too short to take on what they took on, and to have Anakin flailing around like a retard and haphazardly winning the battle is LAME LAME. Lucas is a pedophile, btw. He adopts reams of portly and corpulent children, has you seen his adopted kids? He keeps them fat so they feel like crap about themselves and don't have the courage to report his molestations.

I don't like cynical, mass-produced trash like the vast majority of movie and tv show novel tie-ins. If you people would stop buying anything that said fucking "star wars" on it, I might have a chance to read better books.
