Airplanes May Affect Weather Patterns

And now it has emerged that the American climate was indeed noticeably different during those three days without air travel.' Seems that what we do on the planet may have more effect than we may ever know."
Either stop posting this environmentalist propaganda crap, or I stop reading Slashdot. This and the piece about hydrogen cells makes me sick. The Cold War is over. The Communists lost. Stop trying to advocate state control over industry. Nuclear power is very safe and coal burns cleaner than ever, but you'll never see a story about *that* here, will you?
