Steffi Graf Wins Case Vs. Microsoft
scaramush writes: "The AP is reporting that Steffi Graf has won her lawsuit against Microsoft for hosting nude doctored photos of her. Although Microsoft had removed the images when they appeared in June, MS declined to sign a formal agreement that they would not appear again. This is the second loss for MS in this case. Scary precedent."

I am going to flame myself and note that this case demonstrates nothing of the kind. My bad, my bad.
Not to point out the obvious, but this is in Germany. There are plenty of precedents in the U.S. to prevent this sort of thing.

Force is violence. The supreme authority from which all other authority is derived. Unless the common man has the ability to use force, he is a slave to a government. He can be subjected to whatever that government wishes, because he can't respond with physical force.

No. The intended use of firearms is to *kill* people, not to *murder* people.
You can use Napster to copy any sort of music, but the intended purpose was to facilitate copyright violations; you can use guns to carry out a wide variety of killings, but the intended purpose is not to murder people.
