It's a small plant as power plants go (600 kilowatts, when many plants are hundreds or thousands of megawatts) but it was cheap to produce, aesthetically pleasing, and of course, non-polluting, so that Godzilla won't visit.

Guys, the last time I was in a bunny suit (aka aluminum casting line leathers) I was within pissing distance of a lot of way nasty shit. Acids, heavy metals, toxic admixtures just to name a few.
They use all this dangerous stuff to make those windmills.
I really don't see where this legend about wind power not being polluting when it's made from aluminum which requires all kinds of dangerous materials during processing. Between all the electricity they use, the water, the ores it's just not an environmentally acceptable sounce of power.
Obviously nuclear power is a much better idea than wind power.
