Final Fantasy XI PC Requirements Announced

PKFC writes "Square has begun taking applications for the Final Fantasy XI PC Beta test which starts on June 18 in Japan. The minimum specs are: Win 98, PIII 800 MHz, 128 MB RAM, a GeForce card and 4.5 GB of hard drive space, while the recommended specs include a 64 MB video card and a Pentium 4. The 4.5 GB is used for game data, the PlayOnline software and the ever popular, Tetramaster. The PC version will be fully compatible with the PlayStation2 version allowing people on either system to play together. Be warned that the links go to Japanese web sites."

well, this end the arguement on whether PCs or consoles are more practical for gaming. A $299 Playstation 2 sounds quite better if you're just in it for gaming.

BAHAHAH! >Whats left, world rugby and cricket champions? >GO USA! Political = Bush, bought and paid for Social = One of the highest rates of violent crime in the first world Education = The highest rate of adult illiteracy in the first world Economic = Ok, that's fair, but then, if The US ever paid its debts, a lot of other countries might start to look a little healthier. So I can understand, given this situation, how proud you must be of the success of 20 or so of your fellow countrymen. It must help take your mnd of your internal and dometic woes. If you could see your way clear to organising a US cricket or Rugby team - it has been some time since I have seen any worthwhile comedy from the states.

Whats left, world rugby and cricket champions?

Bring it on - wed love to see what happens to you guys in a rugby world cup.. ahh hang on weve seen it

When you can beat Australia at rugby you're fit to be a real nation :) (or the All Blacks for that matter)

Course the rest of the world might not consider youre beating them in any of the areas you talk about.....

Political - need we mention florida ?
Social - Spiraling health problems, obesity, gun crime, drugs and other issues..
Education - the test results on simple spelling and history of your college students might indicate otherwise....
Economic - yeah sure all that money invested in Internet stocks like boo.com and in Enron indicates an intelligent and educated economix base - ps australia still has less unemployment and better GPD growth and theirs only 19 million of us.

Did i also mention that no one has ever carried out terrorist acts against us or blown up any of our buildings or embassies ?

I love seeing the US tourists when travelling in asaia - and the candians with there "i am NOT an american" t shirt

PS you only got thru to the second round of the world cup - you aint won yet - lets see you take on brazil..........
