Disney Switches To Linux For Animation

The New York Times is reporting that Disney has switched over to Linux-based HP workstations for animation. Although Disney has historically been known for their hand-drawn animation, this is a big move to Linux for what might be the world's most famous producer of animated films."
So, they use OSS, but then they lock Mickey Mouse up through their continued efforts to lengthen copyright law and broaden the definition of trademark infringement. Until they free Mickey, I'm not applauding....

You talked to the Disney animators, and it didn't occur to you to ask how their company justifies pushing laws through Congress that would make Linux illegal?
