Real Genius Now Available on DVD
While perusing the Onion today, I came across this review of Real Genius on DVD. No longer must we lower ourselves to watching crumbling VCR tapes of this movie copied off of Cinemax in the early 90s.

...wha? Yes, I know what Real Genius is about. An article about how accurate the science is in the film would maybe even qualify. I just don't think DVDs releases are terribly scientific. Unless you consider marketing a science.

Okay, this is great! Now where the fuck is Weird Science on DVD? My original Blockbuster PVT is fading into dust.

/. mention of Real Genius on DVD isn't about advertising an MPAA product, it's about a great movie. One with more quotable lines than just about any other movie, other than the Grail.
Sure, we "hate" the MPAA. But do we hate the movie producers? The directors, actors, and writers? Do we stop being entertained simply because we don't like a single trade organization operating "on behalf" of those moviemakers?
