Adding an LCD Status Screen to a PC

How about adding a liquid crystal display (LCD) that can show this type of information?" Seems pretty straight-forward ... " Yes, but can you make one as as pretty as this one?

    Great idea, but how about instead of having it at your desk to let you know you've got mail, mount it in the rear window of your car for those times when the horn just isn't enough :-)
