American Movie Execs Could Face Aussie Jails For Hacking
pegacat points to a story in the Melbourne Age which says that "American movie, recording and software executives could be arrested if they travel to Australia, could be prohibited from entering Australia, or could be extradited to face criminal charges if Californian Democrat congressman Howard Berman's copyright protection bill, which allows cracking
of computers, passes into law." That's because "Under section 9a of the Victorian Summary Offences Act (1966), 'a person must not gain access to, or enter, a computer system or part of a computer system without lawful authority to do so'. The penalty if convicted is up to six months' jail."

No one likes to talk about how everyone tried to kill the Americans? LOL! And then you woke up. Pretty much everything we hear about today has something to do with that. "We don't like America" "Why?" "Because they think they own the planet." "Why?" "Because we tried to bomb them."
The list goes on and on. No one's forgotten that at one point, America was a big target to those overseas. Believe me. How can we forget? America's excuse for anything they do is "They started it."
Sorry, but I'm just a tad bit annoyed at having to LIE and tell people "Hey yeah...my friend here is from Canada..." when traveling overseas. Lose the holier-than-though attitudes, as well as the whining, and no one will hate you. Don't get me wrong, no one deserves to be bombed, or attacked, or anything along those lines, but there's always a reason for it. However legit it is. I really thought 9/11 would be an eye-opener for not just America, but for the world. It's obvious something much more tragic needs to happen. *sigh*
