Linux on Xbox One Step Closer?

RpiMatty1 writes: "Apparently the Linux Kernel has been booted on the Xbox. No mention of it on the Xbox-Linux Home page yet. Here is another posting of the same messages at Xboxhacker.net." I wonder if the recent security code change rules this particular development out for Xboxes purchased in the near future.

    Blah you don't know what you're talking about, linux doesn't have any standard graphics or sound api's. Unless you use OpenGL; then you have to wonder what toolkit you'll use.. too much of a headache.

    Good grief people why in the HELL are you wasting time making linux run on the XBOX come on. it just pisses me off to no end the idiots who want linux something meant for gaming. good grief lets hack the heart pace makers and make a linux port. no no wait lets make linux port for ice cream machines, no no wait lets make linux port for dancing clowns. blah blah blah get a life people!
