    Then again it's his site, and he can put it on there if he wants to. The image is not offensive, and i had to look through the page twice to notice it. Personally i find pages that link to religious sites which try to convert people (or tell them they'll go to hell if they don't) far more offensive. It's a cultural thing - people in some countries would have a similar reaction to the idea of abortion being legalised.

    What's with Slashdot posting story after story after story, at a much more rapid pace than ever, at the same time that the number of non-troll forum participants seems to be at an all time low?

      Today is Sunday. Saturday and Sunday are the LOWEST traffic days for ALL tech/news sites.
      Monday to Wednesday are the big traffic days, Thursday/Friday are lower, but still very "ok", but weekend is always terribly low, mostly because people are browsing these kind of sites from schools or bussinesses.
