One Step Closer to NWN for Linux

Apostata writes "It's been a long, long road for those of us awaiting the oft-delayed Linux Client of BioWare's NeverWinter Nights, but finally there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. BioWare has put up a Linux Client page which will specifically inform eager beavers on how things are progressing, and it now states a Fall 2002 release." God if only it were true- I could slaughter the villagers and read my email without rebooting. Gotta make sure I don't get that backwards.

What the fuck is wrong estimating a month of release instead of saying "fall"?

It might be a lesson for you Americans, but when you are experiencing "fall" (which i believe is called Autumn in the rest of the English speaking world), the southern hemisphere is experiencing Spring (or do you call that "rise" or something?)

So for Bioware to name a "fall" release they are telling me that I can already get it? (Autumn was March-April-May where I live). The long and the short is that if you want to name a release date, use something that is globally relevant. If you cant narrow it down to a month, at least go for a quarter of the year, ie 3rd quarter.

What it boils down to is that Americans seem to forget that there is anywhere else in the world besides America. Please stop fucking with the English language and please take a look at an Atlas, there really is more than just the US of A.

    Rant over.
