I just heard some sad news on talk radio - horror/fiction writer Stephen King was found dead in his Florida home this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the slashdot community will miss him. Even if you're not a fan of his work, there's no denying his contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.

Writer Stephen King was discovred dead in his Florida hoem erlier today. Details are scarse at the moment. I'm confedent that he will be missed by everyone in teh Slashdot community, concidering his contrebutions to popular culture which cant be denied even if your not a fan of his work. Truly an American icon. ;)
