Seagate Overcomes Superparamagnetic Limit

Longinus writes "Yahoo! News is reporting that hard drive manufacturer Seagate has "overcome a significant challenge in magnetic memory with a new technology capable of achieving far beyond today's storage densities -- up to as great as 50 terabits per square inch. Currently, the highest storage densities hover around 50 gigabits per square inch, but Seagate said its heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) technology could break through the so-called superparamagnetic limit -- a memory boundary based on data bits so small they become magnetically unstable." Perhaps the near future of storage technology lies, for now, not in nanotech or holography, but still in magnetic recording."

    Needed:
    1 commercial size food dehydrator.
    2 newbie scientologists. NOT CLEARs
    2 high powered flourescent bulbs.
    2 auditors (planted of course)
    -
Convince newbie scieno that LRON is back and as bad
as ever waiting in an office to test out the latest
tech. Of course LRON is dead but since scienos believe
that LRON can never really die you have a good chance.
    -
Set up the auditing session. Tell the new scieno that
just this one time, they will will be able to skip
levels all the way up to OT V . Of course the new
clam will be very excited because this will save them
    thousands of dollars.
Unknown to these new scientologists, skipping levels
has some pretty incredible consequences. One of them
being death, but that is neither here nor there.
    -
All right. Get that auditing session going. Once again
you need to protect yourself because all of these
Body Thetans are going to be glowing like all get out.
    We are talking almost nuclear.
To make a long story short. You have a scientologist
and you have a bunch of glowing thetans that can
hold gigaquads of information. Now you need to carefully
move the glowing scientologist to the Dehydrator.

    Wait a week

figure out what kind of band you want.

hahaha, it's easier to blame than to admit you are scared. being scared is a natural human behaviour. you should not deny yourself the right to 'not be scared' (freedom of opinion and freedom of others's opinion or lifestyle) because without that, you will no longer feel success, success is just the willingness to adapt. this is why bill gates owns you.

Because I don't think your comment is good enough that someone choosing to read at Score:X would want to read it. I moderate to help out people who only want to read the best stuff. I reply to add my 2 cents or to dispute yours. Both moderating and replying have their uses.
