Ever Wanted Your Own Land Speeder?

An anonymous reader writes "Be the first on your block to drive on of these! a StarWars Land Speeder. This used to be a 1988 Ford Escort and only has 880 miles since built." This is a surprisingly impressive conversion.

I am not a SW fan. In fact, I hate all the movies w/a passion.

This is just pimp though. Not likely that you would get SWARMED by anyone you would want to get swarmed by (I can't see you picking up hotties in your Ford Escort/Star Wars cruiser) but I could see that people would be interested.

What fascinates me is the price. 880 miles and a real car and the guy is selling it for less than $5000 + 50% of the transport costs? Makes you wonder a bit.

This car is a one of a kind original, NOT a kit. It was not used in any of the Star Wars movies but definitely could have been! This beauty is almost BRAND NEW with only 880 miles and it is THE ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND FOR SALE IN THE WORLD. If you are the lucky person to get it you have a unique driving experience like no other. No matter where you are, when you pull up to a car show, a grocery store, a gas station, a restaurant...you will be the center of attention. My friends and I pulled up to the opening of the recent new Star Wars movie just to see what reaction we would get and we were SWARMED!

Yeah, that's what I want. A car that will attract Star Wars geeks. Yes indeed this car does make a statement, unfortunately that statement is "I live with my parents and regularly masturbate over a life size cardboard cutout of Carrie Fisher from Return of the Jedi". If you want to make sure that you'll never reproduce buying this car will work better than anything short of castration.

Most Slashdot readers couldn't program "Hello, World!" in Visual Basic. This site, like ThinkGeek and User Friendly, is a haven for "geek groupies" -- annoying dumbfucks who consider "installing Linux" to be fucking rocket science and try to impersonate technical folks. 90% of the Anti-Microsoft Club is comprised of these losers.

The worst of them even go as far as posting in fixed-width "code" mode, hoping that it makes them appear more technical. There's even this one particular retard, named csw -- oh, wait. I'll tell you about him some other time.

Bunch of weenies, if you ask me. No skills, no knowledge, no worth, no future -- just poseurs, each and every one.
