AnandTech Reviews ATI's Mobility Radeon 9000

Mike Bouma writes "AnandTech has reviewed ATI's latest mobile graphics solution. According to the reviewer this small and energy efficient chip is the new king when it comes to mobile graphic chips for Notebooks. Also John Carmack is apparently very positive about the chip and also stated that Doom 3 will be able to run smoothly with this new Radeon chip."

Seriously, ATI Have GOT to hire someone who can write software. They release a new chip, the drivers suck, and eventually they'll just forget about it and release the next chip. ATI keeps screwing it's customers over with the promise of "new drivers are coming, seriously" but it always turns into "You need a new card, sorry"

Who cares what Jon Carmack says? Doom 3 is going to be a bestseller for two weeks, after which the hype ends and the game will end up in the bargain bin at the local supermarket.

I so do hope Doom 3 flops...
