Linux Outpacing Macintosh On Desktops
An anonymous reader points out this article in the International Herald Tribune about corporate acceptance of computers running GNU/Linux, which includes this snippet: "Linux is already outpacing Macintosh on desktops: "Dan Kusnetzky, an analyst for International Data Corp., said Linux had a 3.9 percent share of desktops worldwide, outpacing Macintosh's 3.1 percent." The article does not specify from where Kuznetsky draws either figure, but can it be true that Linux systems currently outnumber Macintoshes?

This guy is right. When will you people learn Linux is just a hobby OS for computer science majors. It will NEVER supplant Mac or Windows on the desktop, there's not a single application even comparable to Excel, PhotoShop, or the various video editing software, in terms of feature-rich profesional quality and widespread, industry-wide acceptance. And before you rip on Excel, walk into any payroll or accounting office in the country and find somebody using Linux spreadsheets. You'll find more offices using legacy DOS apps than you will using the non-existent Linux office app vaporware BS you wank-mongers have been peddling here for years.
And then there's games. The Linux "games" market is probably the most comical waste of time you cultist morons have ever pursued.

I am a homosexual. I bought an Apple computer because of its well earned reputation for being "the" gay computer. Since I have become an Apple owner, I have been exposed to a whole new world of gay friends. It is really a pleasure to meet and compute with other homos such as myself. I plan on using my new Apple computer as a way to entice and recruit young schoolboys into the homosexual lifestyle; it would be so helpful if you could produce more software which would appeal to young boys.
