What is the Value of a Second Major?
An Anonymous Student asks: "I am a senior in college, majoring in computer science. I only need two more CS classes to finnish a BS. But all along I have also been taking math classes and find that I am only three classes away from a finishing a BS in math as well. (We normally take nine classes a year) So Here is the question to people out in the real world: Is it worth it to get a second degree? Do employers or grad schools care about that stuff? or should I just take fun random stuff in my last year as an undergrad?"
First off, why are you asking a bunch of people you don't even know? You should intern with professionals whom you aspire to be like. You think trolling for answers 'Ask Slashdot' has anything to do with reality? Oh, please, this is just ridiculous. I would never hire a baby like you, attaching one's self to the apron strings of a pseudo community rather than being proactive, and doing consulting, internships, and talking with people like , say, professors whom you pay to be educated by.
Also, a glaring error in your question, this is the type of crap human resource retards look for, you used "Finnish" instead of finish. How seriously are we to take your question when you don't take your question seriously enough to proof it? What the hell?
So in closing I say this; I wish you the worst of luck. It's a horrible economy out there and it should be easy for use to sift through the piles of shit and throw away resumes like yours and hire proactive, intelligent people who can spell and not ask life's questions on a highly questionable second third hand online dumping ground for idiot's brain droppings.
